All states back FirstNet broadband scheme

The US government has revealed that all 50 states have approved plans from the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) and AT&T to deliver a wireless broadband network for public safety services.

The Department of Commerce said that all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands accepted the initiative, with Guam, the Pacific Territories of American Samoa and the Mariana Islands expected to announce their decision by March 12.
